THAILAND – Nippon Sanso (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (“NSTH”) and with Thai Special Gas Co., Ltd. (“TSG”) has announced the establishment of Green CO2 Co., Ltd. (“Green CO2”), a joint venture to manufacture and supply biogenic carbon dioxide (CO₂) solutions in Thailand.
The project is developed in collaboration with BBGI Public Company Limited, utilising raw CO₂ generated as a by-product of its ethanol production process. The captured CO₂ will be refined to meet high-purity industrial, food, and beverage-grade specifications for diverse applications across multiple industries.
Strategically located in the logistics hub of Chachoengsao Province, the facility is well positioned to serve key industries across eastern Thailand. Commercial operations and domestic distribution are scheduled to commence in June 2026, with products supplied through both NSTH and TSG.
In alignment with global sustainability standards, Green CO2 will pursue Carbon Footprint of Product (CFP) certification to verify its reduced environmental impact and contribution to greenhouse gas emissions reduction.
The joint venture reflects the shared commitment of the partners to support sustainable industrial development and circular resource utilisation in Thailand.
